About the Marathon:
“Starting at the most easterly point in the USA, West Quoddy Lighthouse, the rolling USATF and Athletics Canada certified Marathon course offers miles of water and harbor views. Crossing from the International border by way of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial Bridge and Lubec Narrows, the course takes runners past the President's summer home in Roosevelt Campobello International Park. Traversing stunning Campobello Island over to Head Harbor Light, the course then retraces its steps back across the bridge to finish along Water Street in the heart of Lubec.”

The Journey to Lubec
Welcome to Lubec and Lubec T-Shirt Company!
My name is Scott Wilcox and after owning and operating my T-Shirt, Custom Printing, and Souvenir business in Wells Beach, Maine for over 40 years, it was time for a change. I picked Lubec because over 100 years ago my Great Grandfather, John Wilcox, owned the ‘Four Winds’ house, affectionately known as the Gerrish house, (located at 123 Main Street) and sold herring out of the barn that once stood there. (Just across and down the street from the store!)
Starting at the age of seven, my father, Irving Wilcox, would spend his summers here with his grandparents and was put to work in the “The Mosquito Squads” pulling weeds in the fields. I spent my childhood summers at our family camp on Big Lake outside of Princeton, and visited Lubec and Campobello often to sightsee and hear my Dad's stories.
It is with great pride that I too have now joined the Lubec community by moving my business here and calling it The Lubec T-Shirt Company located at 106 Main Street.
I am open seasonally May-October and available by appointment November-March.
